Seriously gooey and amazing and will make a great base for Rocky Road Brownies. With Homemade Marshmallows, of course
from honeyandjam.com
10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks, 5 ounces or 141 grams) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (2 7/8 ounces, 82 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder (natural or Dutch-process)

2/3 cup walnut or pecan pieces (optional)
Preheat oven to 325. and position rack to the bottom third of the oven.
Line and 8X8 pan with tin foil.
Melt butter, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in microwave or on the stovetop til butter is melted. Stir until mixture is warm, not hot; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Stir in eggs, one at a time until incorporated.
Mix in flour until you can't see it anymore than continue for 40 strokes.
Mix in nuts if using.
Pour into lined pan and bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick slides out clean.
Try not to eat all of it so when you make ice cream with your new Kitchenaid attachment, you'll have an awesome mix-in.
